The Riverside County Fire Department, Station79 is a full-service public safety department which provides fire suppression, and emergency medical services to Coachella residents, businesses and visitors since 1990. Fire Station #79 serves the City of Coachella from its downtown facility.

What We Do

Public Safety

Delivers a full range of cost-effective services to the City as part of the regional and integrated fire protection system provided via a cooperative agreement with the Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire.

"All-Risk" Fire Suppression

Provides services including fire suppression, fire prevention and fire protection planning.

"All-Risk" Emergency Medical Services

Provides out-of-hospital care and transport for patients with illnesses and injuries that the patient believes constitutes a medical emergency.
