We are proud to offer a Teen CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program that empowers young people to be leaders in emergency preparedness and response.

Each summer and fall, we partner with Coachella Valley Unified School District’s Summer STEM LEAPS program and the Coachella Valley High School Public Service Academy to provide hands-on CERT training for students.

• Basic disaster response skills
• Fire safety and suppression
• Light search and rescue
• First aid and triage
• How to support emergency services during disasters

By completing the Teen CERT training, students gain valuable life skills, can earn community service hours, and become better prepared to assist their families, schools, and communities in times of need.
