Planning Commissioners serve as advisors to the City Council on matters related to land use, growth, and development within Coachella. Their duties include reviewing and making recommendations on development proposals, zoning changes, and long-range planning documents such as the General Plan. Commissioners also hold public hearings to gather community input, ensure projects align with City policies and community goals, and help guide decisions that shape Coachella’s future.
